The party at Dr. Garcia's mansion is interrupted by a dreadful phone call. The Good Neighbors want to investigate, but they find it hard to move forward without knowing what Garcia knows. Cascius convinces the doctor to make some revelations, and they are much more than the gang was expecting.

The gang finally gets a chance to enjoy their camaraderie. Flint helps fix up Cascius' deathtrap of a car and the two bond over their messy lives. Beck and June try to blend work with fun and get their spell components through little schemes. After a few shots on the part of both parties, the gang is invited to Dr. Garcia's mansion for a small house party.

She protects her co-worker from an awkward situation and placates her middle-manager. Meanwhile, June reunites with their gang to stick it to a franchiser who treats their employees like garbage. After a series of gaffes, it's time for June to break out the holy water.

The second interlude begins! Louis teaches Flint how to use social media to reconnect with the world. Flint goes about his daily life, being the local cryptid and mysteriously solving everyone's problems without them even knowing. Cascius takes a brief break from running away from his haunted doll and attempts to find psychic help. He makes a few discoveries, but none of them are what he wanted.

They’ve got backup and they’ve got a plan, but that can only protect you so much. June pushes their magic to the limit. Beck does her Order proud. Flint teaches Louis how to be a hero, and Cascius broadens his horizons.

As they share information, Dr. Garcia finally explains to Louis why the average person can’t see monsters. The gang recognizes that they can’t face this threat alone, so they start calling in backup.
